It's here again

This frivolous feeling
That keeps my veins thrumming
My chest throbbing
My blood gushing
My face flushing
My limbs trembling
My eyes twitching
My voice failing

This inordinate feeling

Gruelling
That despite how rare you come
And with all your weakening thoughts
And your flaring desire
And your thrilling dreams
You'll never lead me in your sizzling state
To that profound height
That I know you reach

Then why pester me
Why not let me be
When you won't let glee?
